SPRING/SUMMER SALE 2015
The sale will again be held at the Russellville Sign and Graphics Building located at the corner of Walker Drive and Emerson Bypass Rd. Turn at Solazteca or Emerson factory and keep going--the access road right in front of the building is Silver Lane. The restroom will NOT be available. Sale times are as follows--CHECK BACK FOR UPDATES--any changes will be posted on this site. If you are new to the site or the sale, we invite you to become a part of Britches & Bloomers. Now is a great time to start getting your items ready to sell. For those of you that are already a part of the sale, please tell your family and friends. Earn 70% of your total sales less a $8 entry fee!We welcome any racks or tables for sale use--make sure they are CLEARLY MARKED with your name. Please do not include any strictly WINTER clothes in your items to sell such as heavy coats. We do not have room for these items and will remove them from the racks if we run out of space. We're taking volunteers! Anyone selling is welcome to work at any point in the sale.
Please hang all garments with the hangers facing to your left. Failure to do this results in your clothing and price not being seen as well as other clothing on the racks. HANGERS NEED TO BE WIRE if at all possible. Thin plastic hangers work as well. We request that NO tube/thick hangers be used. Tube hangers take up apx. 3x the space of wire or plastic hangers and will be removed from the racks if necessary. The local dry cleaners usually have free or cheap extra hangers. Walmart also has a smaller wire hanger that is helpful for infant clothing. If you know someone that wears uniforms at work, ask them for extra hangers.
On 1/2 index card or similar size card stock (business card size is great too!), you will place the pertinent information and securely pin it to your upper right side of the garment. Please make sure that clothes are securely pinned to hangers if needed. ON YOUR TAG, please include the article description, size, gender if not obvious, your seller id# (see below), and price in whole dollars. PLEASE DO NOT mark prices in cents (e.g. 3.25). Prices will be rounded down to the lowest dollar amount at checkout AND payout if this occurs.
An example of how to do this would be center of tag: article description and size; upper left corner: seller id #; lower right corner: price (whole dollars only).
We do not request that a list be turned in. However, you may find it helpful when picking up your items if you have one prepared. If you do NOT want an item selling for 1/2 price on Saturday, clearly mark with a large red dot on the tag . Please do not use a note or abbreviation to indicate this (e.g. ND or NO) OR an "x" or other mark--customers are looking for a red dot and so are we as we check out. This will not insure your item not selling for half price. IF YOU HAVE PREVIOUSLY TAGGED ITEMS from other sales, we will gladly accept them. You will just need to make sure that the various ID information is recorded on the paperwork that you fill out when dropping off your items.
